'What a great hotel! Top class service, from messages the day before check-in, great explanations and tips at check in, and what a great design this hotel has. Peaceful, as you are extremely close to city center but in an area where you won’t hear all the noise (and we were here during Dio de los Muertos). Easy 6-7min walk to Santo Domingo. Chef in the morning to cook incredible breakfasts. 1000% recommended.'

'The rooms are clean, on other trips to this hotel the front dest was great. The person this last trip the front desk lady just seem lost on what she need to do to check us in. She even gave us our room with out even having us sign the room docks. She called us back later that day. Breakfast was good. Its alot better then just muffins and toast. Its a good breakfast to start your morning. The breakfast servers do need to focus on all customers not just the ones they think are going to tip them....

    "I paid for a room with 2 double beds, but received a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. When I told this to the reception they first did not want to help me at all, only after a discussion they told me they would change the room the next day. I did not receive any refund or apology for getting a 3 person room while paying for a 4 person room. Furthermore, the view from the windows of the room was a wall.. No sunlight entered the room. Very very bad customer service. Some staff were very friendly, but a few receptionists ruined it with their bad attitude."
