If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. 'This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing...

'Everything about this stay was wonderful. Our whole family was able to be together under one roof and there was plenty of space for all of us. Au Train beach was fun, only a short walk. The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area. '

'Our family loved this cabin! We enjoyed the beautiful open indoor space, the large jetted bathtub, and the wrap-around deck looking out into the woods. The only issue we had was that the wi-fi didn’t work on the deck. We brought our ATV and took advantage of the nearby state forest trails.'

'Had a great time at this cabin with our three boys. They loved the kayaks and caught lots of little fish. Super private and serene little spot and close to lots to do (Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti-kipi, Lake Michigan/Superior). The lake is very muddy and weedy though, so not good for swimming. 'Was a great trip. Good location and the place was ideal for two couples that are willing to share the one large bathroom. The home was stocked with all the essentials, including good coffee, beach towels, etc., which made our stay very convenient. Susan was very responsive before and during the stay. '

'This place was great! We were up in that area for a long weekend to check out Waterfalls. It was 15 min drive to Pictured Rocks. Was in a private area and was very well kept up. The mosquitos were intense when we first got there guessing because l you are right off of the au train river. However, we had brought thermacells so we were able to enjoy the hot tub and the deck area. Highly recommend. '
