The front desk rarely left their seats behind the counters. With the exception of check in and she told me to hold because she was on her Bluetooth. From them I should have left but we were tired and was late to my family’s funeral.
The following day, breakfast (which was not refreshed) eggs were old… I sat at breakfast with my family. There were two front desk attendance. Neither of them stood up to greet one guest. Just talked to each other. There were boxes from Costco muffins that no one felt like throwing away so we moved them to sit at a table because the conversation must been important… We ask for a toothbrush, still sitting in the chair they said they Didn’t have toothbrushes (which was ok, some hotels don’t have them).
What made me check out: two beds had one blanket with a yellow stain, the other had NO BLANKET. The front desk manager then requested to inspect my room. When I asked why, she said “to complain to the housekeeper” I said no. They are the lowest paid and working in hospitality it’s the managers fault, not the housekeeper. I’m a guest and she made it about them not me being warm. What a shame! Instead of giving us a blanket, they gave us mattress pads that were so worn (pictures attached). That action spoke louder than words… (I don’t want you here). I think Expedia should honestly not support the poor treatment of this hotel. I was unsure why it came up on my search and had a good rating.
