Villa's in Atenas

'Amazing. The cabana is beautiful! It’s brand new and very comfortable. It has three walk out decks, and a one whole side of the cabana is huge windows that open to make the space open air. The views form the cancan are insane! We booked last minute, and I am sure it will be our favorite all the three paces we stay. The host was amazing! He even took us hiking up the river. 'Villa Serenidad exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful home and the view is wonderful. We really liked watching the cows and calves next door and meeting Iggy the iguana. The people of Atenas and all of Costa Rica are welcoming and so helpful with those who are not at all fluent in Spanish! I don't think we ever had even close to a bad meal either! 'For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. On two separate occasions toucans came to the tree in the backyard to feed on the berries. We also had 6 head of cows/ bulls wander up one morning while we enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The late afternoons did get warm, but we just cooled off in the pool. We did not see any rain while we were there. The nights do cool down, but was still a little...

'Había una actividad en el rancho y me avisaron al final ya no podía conseguir espacio en otro lado. El parqueo estaba lleno. Al final se resolvió. En la mañana nos despertó maquinaria de construcción en la propiedad de al lado. Había un olor horrible y nos dijeron que era el volcán. La propiedad es pequeña pero bien equipada. 'It’s true, the pictures do not do this justice! My husband and I spent 14 beautiful days at the Villa along with another couple. We were warmly greeted by the caretaker, Elias. If we needed anything, we communicated with him using WhatsApp. He even arranged for a Taxi to pick us up one evening so we could go out to dinner. 'Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper '

Everything was close by (restaurants, supermarket, gas station) plus the neighborhood is pretty quiet which allowed us to disconnect and have the perfect family time. The house has everything we needed to feel like home.'

He was able to suggest local restaurants that were all delicious as well as some local shopping stores. Adrian was very friendly and cleaned the pool daily without us even knowing. It’s a short drive into Atenas where there is plenty of food, exploring and shopping. We liked this specific area as it was in the middle of where we wanted to visit....
