'I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The room had a very strong, unpleasant smell and the bedding felt stale and musty. I had to keep the window open all day and night just to make the room bearable, which was far from ideal on a cold and wet February weekend. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The walls were visibly dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, the mats appeared unwashed, and the floors were stained. On top of that, there was no proper hot water for showers — we...

'Beautiful place and surroundings with great food. Room quite small with far too small bed (140cm?) and inadequate curtains: sunlight wakes you up at 4:30h!'

'Bad wifi and limited facilities. No fridge in the room, gym or anything really other than a square room with dodgy aircon. I would give it a 3 star but the staff were so friendly and helpful that it deserves a 5.'

'Well worth getting back to nature. A pleasant view as well. More home comforts than a shepherd would have had - certainly nice and cosy. The stove really puts out some heat. Give it a go, it’s a different accomodation!'

'This is a lovely place to stay. Chris and Maureen are really helpful, and were very good with the enhanced cleaning/social distancing.
