'The host was nice, helpful and easy to communicate with. Our room had an assigned bathroom, it wasn’t in the room, but just down the hall. That worked fine for us. We needed a clean, reasonably priced place for an overnight stay on our road trip and this ticked all the boxes.'

'This is a solid stay for a night or two, but it is very bare minimum - like a hostel. If you're looking for something besides a hostel experience I suggest looking elsewhere. Location is good, but you do hear the highway from the room. Owner is nice, but the walk-through of the place is unnecessary. Everything is straightforward. '

'Very clean and comfortable. The host was kind and cared about our experience. Quiet and off the beaten path; a hidden gem for sure, wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in the area! Check in was easy and the kitchen was full size with all appliances, basic necessities to cook meals to save money and enjoy the local seafood. '

'We visited here for a weekend in the Mystic area. Our daughter joined us for an evening and the home was cozy and comfortable for 3 adults. The check in process was seamless and communication with the host was always timely. They thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and everything was within arms reach. 'We had the best weekend here! The house was spotless and had such a warm, welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. 'This was a great house for our annual cousins' trip! The first level has all of the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. I will flag that you could hear everything from the bedrooms that was happening in the living rooms so may not be the best fit for light sleepers. Big, beautiful backyard!! '

'This was perfect for what we needed as we had an event at the Foxwood Casino. It wasn't too far from Mystic which was good for us when we wanted to venture out. The only thing I would say needs to be clarified is that, though there is AC, it's a window unit in one bedroom down stairs and one upstairs. 'Great Location and better than Great Host. Always in contact if needed. We stayed for my son’s wedding at Harkness State Park. The house was convenient and well stocked with all the amenities of home. We hosted the rehearsal dinner at the home which has a large driveway/parking area. The sleeping accommodations are comfortable with 4 King Beds. Would highly recommend the host and home!!!'
