'Peaceful, beautiful scenery and homely. The hosts were friendly and helpful to share about transport and food options, and answered my questions when I had difficulty navigating Furano (my first time in Hokkaido). As a solo traveler without a car, I am grateful that they picked me up on my first day and sent me to the bus stop on my last day. House is very comfortable and spacious. Thanks Penguin and Jane for being such great hosts!'

'Really homey and clean, love the cottage feel and quietness. There’s no restaurant around and the closest grocery store is about 20 min walk next to Naka-Furano Station, so we did cook a lot. Other families also BBQ. I wish there were a bit more kitchen supplies but we managed just fine. '
