'Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. What a gem of a location too! Tip, if you stay Sunday night, a lot of the fun restaurants are closed but there are still a few great ones open. Casa Alejo is so yummy! Everything about The Star is great! I can’t wait to come back.'

'The room was pretty clean but I did do a bit of dusting on the headboard. There were a couple of food stains, actually food, on the couch cushions. I just flipped them. And we were disappointed that the hot tub was gone. Otherwise, it was good. The staff, as well as the other guests, was very nice! And the food from the bar was great!'

'As for a clean rooms yes it was clean and I want my room to be clean but as for the staff at night no help & rude our tv wouldn’t work I think if you pay for a room you should have a tv & we received no help we were told maintenance would help in the morning. what good is help in the morning when we are leaving. How about a new room? A working tv? Something other than we can help in the morning!'

'No hot water at 6:45 am. We let the hot water faucet run at least 15 continuous minutes in bathroom with COLD water coming out. I went downstairs to front desk and asked if breakdown of hot water heater. Attendant asked if I had tried shower faucet and I replied No. I then went upstairs and tried shower faucet it eventually got warm enough to use. My wife and I tried both sinks in bathroom and in kitchen area twenty minutes later, still COLD. No shaving today. Disappointed barely describes the...
