'Fantastic staff and owner'

'Overnight stop on way to ferry so room on second floor was fine and private off road parking appreciated. Usual amenities with good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Dinner served in enclosed charming outdoor terrace area and beautifully cooked food although a plethora of bouche amusants offered in addition to three course menu which bordered on unnecessary. It seems that smoking on such a dining terrace is still normal in France as it is open to the air. Breakfast was good for pastries...

'We kregen kamer boven ingang van het hotel aan voorzijde. Was zeer basic ingericht met versleten indruk. Douchekop kapot, bed te zacht, veel lawaai buiten van warmlopende dieseltreinen bij station, etc. Bleek later de 'goedkope' kamer te zijn (stond op briefje achter receptie). Bij afrekenen de mevrouw daarop aangesproken en na enig tegensputteren hebben wij uiteindelijk het goedkope tarief betaald. We voelden ons toch een beetje bekocht. Vendome prachtig stadje met zeer goed Vietnamees...

'Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans le B&B de Luc. Logement plein de charme, chaleureux, original du fait de la roche et des differentes oeuvres d'art . Les WC ouverts, et la statue de la douche nous ont bien amusés! ^^ Luc est un hôte très sympathique. Village et vallée du Loir sont très jolis! '

'Logement correspondant à l'annonce,bien situé pour visiter les chateaux de la Loire. Seul bémole,la route au bas de l'immeuble est un peu bruyante.Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.'

'We loved meeting Roc and staying here! This is a French country house and got us out of the city and into the beautiful countryside. Roc was welcoming, gave us access to his family home and gardens, and an excellent restaurant recommendation in a nearby town. He even called to make a reservation for us. '
