We really loved the house, everything was quite thoughtful and made for a great stay with family and friends. This is a great for longer stays to really enjoy the experience.

Comfortable, well-lived home in Arnold/Dorrington

Nice cabin & lots of room for everyone. The kitchen is well-equipped. The pool table downstairs is loads of fun. Fantastic location. Great communication with owner (property manager?) Would stay here again.

Great location, perfect for families, and super cozy!

We loved the amazing view of trees from the living room, cozy themed bedrooms, and the downstairs pool table was perfect for our teen boys! Owner was super responsive. Looking forward to visiting again!

I would give this place a 4.5. It was very nice. Check in was super easy. The place was very comfortable and clean, but slightly worn. Unfortunately, the cookware needs upgrading because the teflon pans were scratched beyond usability. That's probably my biggest complaint because the kitchen is the biggest perk to renting a house (in my opinion).

Best weekend stay ever!

I never leave reviews but I wanted to let people know this rental was great in every way. The cabin is so amazing. Host thought of Everything. Furniture was incredible. Whether we were in bed or relaxing on the couch enjoying tv and a fire. We were comfortable. Would choose to stay there over and over again!

Our stay in the mountain forest

We loved this house in part due to its peaceful location among the big trees of Arnold. It is even nicer in real life than in the pictures. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck and enjoying the absolute quiet. The house is very charming. The wifi works great. Thanks for such a nice experience!

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

This cabin was awesome!!! There was 6 of us and we had an amazing time. Our plans took a left turn because we thought we were going up for a sun filled weekend, but got thunderstorms and rain. This cabin was great either way. Had so much fun playing pool and foosball or just watcching movies confortably in the family room.

We had a great stay here with four adults and four children. The house is really spacious and has a lot to offer. I will say that the queen beds seemed very small to us. For two taller than average adults (my husband and me), it was not the most comfortable. Just something to be aware of. Other than that, we had a great stay!One thing I’d recommend to the host: VRBO says guests should receive check-in instructions three days before arrival. They even send another email on that day saying to reach out to your host if you haven’t received them by then. So that’s what I did. The host responded very quickly and said the code will be changed right before our arrival. That is totally fine, but then I’d recommend sending a message with exactly this information at least three days before arrival so that guests aren’t left wondering why they haven’t received check-in instructions.

Convenient and Cozy

The mountain home was perfect for our week long stay. The home was clean and well furnished. We cook all of our meal in house and really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The game room down stairs was a real bonus with a pool table and foosball table. The only downside was the drive and walkway to the house on the deck. We had freezing temperatures and snow. The drive way was extremely slippery and even with shoveling and spreading snow ice melt we had challenges getting up and down the driveway. Just needed to be extra careful. Otherwise, great home and host. Easy to get to the Bear Valley ski area. Will look at staying here next year!

Great location, beautiful home, great host!

The property and host both exceeded our expectations. Our host communicated promptly (and friendly!) during the entire process from booking to departure The location of the property is excellent. The home is easy to find off the highway and far enough from the highway that you really felt nestled in the woods. There are other homes nearby but you hardly know it once in the home as all you can see out the windows are big beautiful trees. It felt very private. The home is an easy drive to everything. We drove a few minutes away to Big Trees National Park which is breathtaking. A short distance up the mountain is the ski/snowboard resort, sledding/inner-tubing and cross country skiing. We brought sleds up the mountain and pulled over on the side of the road and found a great place to sled. A short drive gets you to a cute town with groceries and places to eat. We have spent time in the area in the summer and it's just as fun with lakes and hiking all around. The house has everything you could need, comfortable beds with ample bedding, kitchen loaded with everything you need, and lots of activities including the pool table and foosball table. There was plenty of space for everyone in our group of 8 people ranging in ages from 5 to 72. There is a nice lounge loft for the teenager, activities in the game room for the adults and lots of space for the little kids to spread out their toys and games. We would be happy to return. We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was the perfect home base, just a quick 10-minute drive from White Pines Lake where we spent most of our time. The cabin felt absolutely magical and had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay: plenty of towels, toiletries, cookware, plates, etc.The kids were especially obsessed with the downstairs game room. They couldn’t stop playing pool the entire trip. The beds were super comfy too. One small thing to note: the bedrooms don’t have blackout curtains, so if you’re sensitive to light, definitely pack an eye mask.Also worth knowing that stores in the area close pretty early, so it’s best to grab essentials before heading to the cabin. That said, there’s a Dollar General about 15 minutes away that stays open later and surprisingly has pretty much everything.We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% come back again someday.

We really liked this home. It is 3 stories. The ground floor is the middle story. On the bottom floor, there is a pool table and foosball with the connecting 4th bedroom, which has 2 twins. Our teenage boys really enjoyed staying in this bottom floor and felt like this had their own suite, with a TV down there. The house was very charming and we really liked the layout. The steps going to the bottom floor are a bit steep. If you are traveling with a young child, you may want to bring a child safety door knob cover so they can’t access the stairs going to the bottom story. We really enjoyed the balcony and having coffee outside and enjoying the view and fresh air. Entry was easy, which is always appreciated.

Nice, cozy cabin close to Bear Valley Ski Area. We planned a BBQ night with the kids, but unfortunately the grill was out of gas, which was a bit of a bummer for them!
