Karock Lodge - w/ Wood Stove!

This beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 bath chalet is located in a quiet area of Big Trees Village within walking distance to Big Trees State Park. This mountain home sleeps 8-10 comfortably. (5 bedrooms, 2 baths).

Main source of heat is wood and the woodstove will keep you warm downstairs and up on those chilly winter nights! There is plenty of firewood for guest use. There are electric heaters in main floor bedrooms.

2-night minimum stay/3-Night Minimum during Holiday Periods/4-night minimum during Christmas & New Years. Updated kitchen, open floor plan with a large loft.

Snuggle up in the great room on the wraparound leather couch in front of the woodstove and 40" TV with Comcast cable. This home also offers Netflix and Amazon online for guest viewing. The picnic style dining table seats 8-10. Kitchen bar has 4 stools. There are three bedrooms on the main floor (1 king, 1 queen, and 1 double bed). The open loft has an air hockey/ping pong table, sofas for lounging, 28" TV with Comcast cable. The two upstairs bedrooms each offer 1 queen bed.

The large partially covered front deck is ideal for BBQing on the propane BBQ, visiting and enjoying the trees. The hot tub is NOT Currently available for guest use. More fun awaits outside in the large open yard with a tire swing and a basketball hoop for kids! Horseshoes and badminton set available for guests.

Karock Cabin is perfect winter or summer for a large family or a group of friends. There is level parking at the top of the drive and the garage is available for guest use.

Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.

Pet Policy: This cabin is not pet friendly - If a pet is brought to a non-pet friendly cabin, there will be a $1,000 fee charged to card on file.

Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).

Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.

Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.

Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.
