There are 8 queen sized beds and 4 twin sized beds. 3 FULL bathrooms are in the barnhouse as well which include custom luxury stonework crafted by a local masonry expert

    ★ The OUTDOOR in-ground heated pool is available for guest use from Mid June to Mid September every year.

    ★ The INDOOR in-ground heated plunge pool is available for guest use YEAR-ROUND and also doubles as a swim spa and/or triple sized hot tub. Includes a regulation basketball hoop with pool basketballs, lounge chairs, a flamingo floatie, all next to the sauna room and shower area.

    ★ The indoor commercial double-level park/playground (in the party shed) is heated and cooled, and has 2 tube slides, a hexagon climbing dome, 3 tire swings, a rock climb wall, and monkey bars, all on rubber flooring and flows directly into the indoor pool room on the second level and the party shed amenities on the first level.

    ★ The 'party shed' is a 2500 sqft large shed structure across from the barnhouse, which includes a mini tiki bar, pool table, ping pong table, darts, plunge pool/sauna/shower, and the entire commercial indoor park. Half bathroom and kitchenette area is located on the first floor

    ★ The mini golf course has 9 holes and is located on the first floor of the barn, next to the lounge and arcade area. The arcade includes a SkeeBall machine, Ms Pac Man machine, NFL Blitz machine, PONG 2 seater machine, Marvel Themed Pinball machine, and a Wisconsin Badger 2 player Pop a Shot

    ★ The home theater includes a massive 100" flat screen smart TV with 12 comfy leather recliners for guest use

    ★ The home gym / workout room is located on the 2nd floor of the barn and includes a stationary bike, chin up / dip station, dumbbell set up to 25 lbs, workout bench, and workout bands

    ★ The bonfire pit, patio, pergola, grill, and outdoor dining space is located on the south side of the barn next to the slide coming off the deck

    ★ There are 3 dedicated home office / work stations in case you or anyone in your group is working remotely, or if anyone needs some space to pop open their laptops

    ★ There is a mid-size 8ft basketball hoop in the 3rd story bunk room with balls stored on the wall for guest use. The 'court' or shooting area is located in between the bunk beds

    ★ Most of the restored barnwood furniture was sourced from a local Amish carpenter about 45 minutes away. The end tables were sourced from whiskey/wine barrels from a custom wood shop in northwoods Wisconsin.

There was plenty to do here and lots of room to spread out or gather together. The kitchen was well stocked with most of what you would need as far at pots, pans, utensils. The hot tub was dirty but the pool guy showed up while we were there. Overall, we had a good time!

We had a fantastic stay at Big Sky Barnhouse in Arena, Wisconsin. It was the perfect place for our group to spend quality time together. Since all the grandkids are older, the arcade, movie theater, and hot tub were huge hits and kept everyone entertained throughout the week.One of the best parts of the property was having enough space for everyone to gather in one place. Whether we were watching a movie, playing games, relaxing in the hot tub, or just hanging out together, the setup made it easy to enjoy time as a group.The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We would definitely recommend it to families or groups looking for a fun and memorable getaway.

Christmas Mystery Trip

We had a fantastic stay! This was our 6th annual mystery trip (my husband and I pick the place and our destination is a surprise to our whole family until we pull in the driveway! 15 of us - this was a perfect place. Kids had a blast!

This was the perfect place to host friends/family for a bachelorette weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. SO many fun things and special touches. We will definitely come back!

Perfect spot for our small family wedding

This was a perfect spot for our small family wedding. Our entire group loved this place. We were a little concerned if the traffic noise would be a problem, but we didn't even notice it. There were so many entertainment amenities, no one was without something to do during our stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Barnhouse!! Our grandkids ages 5, 4 and 4 months thought the place was gigantic and loved it! With five daughters and a few significant others and two friends there was plenty of room and activities for everyone! Kyle and Erin are the perfect hosts!! Highly recommend the Barnhouse! Thank you!

Great family time

We had a lovely time at the barn house with all of the amenities for the kids and adults too. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and loved the multiple areas people could choose to spend time. Sleeping was an issue since it was difficult to regulate heat upstairs and floors and interior doors were very noisy

We loved it!

This was the final weekend of our hockey season and we had a blast! We stayed here with our high school aged daughters ( total of 20) and loved the barn for all it offers. It is an awesome place and hope we can rent it again! Perfect sized for large group meals with plenty to do! :)

Hot Tub was unusable, very dirty, rotten grape floating, damaged/moldy cover and would not heat.Inside barn had some minor cleaning needed on rug. My pants were very dirty when we sat on the floor. Communication has been great with owner until I asked for some back. Now delays in response. Property is neat, activity building is great with pool table, ping pong and darts. Mini golf and arcade games in lower barnwere also fun. This would be a great place to rent if they fix some cleaning issues.

Family Holiday

Our extended family booked this as our Holiday get away and we were not disappointed! The kids absolutely loved the amenities. With so much to do and so much space our large group had plenty of opportunities to float around the property playing games, hot tub, sauna, relaxing, eating, etc! We even used the outside sitting area with the unusually warm weather.Check in was a breeze as was checked out. Host has excellent communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better property for our holiday celebration. We’d love to come back but have already discussed trying a different luxury barn from the same company for our next family getaway.

Perfect for All Ages

Our group of friends come from across the country each year for an annual friends trip so it’s a weekend we take very seriously when it comes to planning and choosing the right place. Big Sky Barnhouse was the perfect place for our friends’ weekend. The posting, pictures and details were super accurate and we had everyone from 2 year olds, teens and adults enjoying every part of the weekend here. Kyle was super responsive whenever I had a question and we could have stayed there a whole week with all there was to do. Thanks Kyle for being such a great host and for providing such a dynamic space for groups like ours!

All around amazing!

Kyle was an excellent host for our week long stay at the Barnhouse! He was very responsive to messages, and answered all our questions! It’s a great getaway, with plenty of space and an enough to keep people entertained! The view during our stay ( October) was amazing to wake up and watch the fall colors change o de the week we stayed! We definitely will stay again in the future! My wife was able to work over the WiFi for a few days in comfy cozy atmosphere , and the family enjoyed all amenities provided! We were able to do some local attractions, and support local businesses! Overall great stay! Life’s to short, just book it and enjoy it!

I wanted to view the property before booking as I only live 11 miles away. The host said there were enough pictures online that that shouldn't be necessary. Then I wanted to do room assignments. The host said there were two bedrooms on each floor. This was not true. There are three on the main floor, two on the second floor and one in the loft. What is also not disclosed is that you need to walk through a bedroom to get to the theatre and workout room. The bathrooms are on the main floor so anyone needing to go to the bathroom staying on the second floor or in the loft has quite a ways to travel. The pool area is nice, but the pool is rather small and deep. The only shallow portion is where the stairs are, so make sure you have someone watching your little ones. The building with the ping pong table and billards table smelled musty. The hot tub is on the second floor which seems like an odd location. What is nice is that there is a refrigerator in the game building as well as in the kitchen. There is ample counter space for large buffets. We utilized the yard behind the pool area to set up extra tables and chairs. This area is shaded and provided a very nice environment on a hot day.

This property gave us an amazing family gathering! Everyone from age 76 to age 8 had a blast. We (12 people) slept comfortably, were able to eat together at the dining table, had plenty of space for multiple cooks in the kitchen AND had epic hide-and-seek games.There are a few things I think people should be aware of (none of these are deal breakers): -The indoor pool is not what we were expecting of a plunge pool - it looked bigger in the picture. Think of it as a huge hot tub where you can control the temperature for kids (3 max) to play. It was perfect after we adjusted our mindset and the kids had a bunch of fun. -The property is right off the road - like RIGHT off the road. That made it unappealing on arrival; however, during our stay we never noticed the road was right there. So, give it a chance.-This property is absolutely huge. I 100% encourage large groups 10 but any less and you won't see each other, if you are spread out!For a large group we catered dinner with All American BBQ LLC and it was the best we have ever had - I am not affiliated, just sharing; plus, no one was in the kitchen for our big celebration dinner :)This was the perfect choice for our family!
