'Mr. Tood was great!!! Very responsive and kind. The cabin has great views and the deers are friendly..lol but we did not feed them. There was a couple issues with the appliances like the refrigerator and the kitchen sink hot water. Other issues hallway bathroom didn't seem to get warm. Lastly the downstairs game room area could use a half bathroom-just a toilet and sink. The host did address the refrigerator issue but couldn't get anyone to come look at it due to the holidays.'

'We rented both units at the Biergarten, the combined available space is HUGE, and extremely well outfitted. I echo 100% the comfort of the beds. It right in the middle of Blowing Rock, directly across a small drive from the Blowing Rock Brewing Company (Restaurant there as well). My boys (10, 13, 14, 16) and I spent the night and hit up App Ski the next morning. My wife didn't make the trip, too bad, she would have been soooo impressed with me picking this spot. We would definately stay...

'It was everything it was described as - the scavenger hunt was a huge highlight! The only downside was the abundance of lady bugs, but our 7 year old was thrilled of the luck that brought. We had a great time.'

'This was more than just another place to stay, it was a great experience. We stayed in the cottage and it was better than described. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all. '
