Enjoy Southern Grandeur and Comfort in one of the most majestic homes in Apalachicola! Located in the center of the historic district and less than two blocks from the restaurants, shops, galleries and pubs! Six other Suites available! See captions on photos for more information.

The STUDIO LIBERTY APT. is perfect cozy apartment for extended or short stays! It is our only rental that is pet friendly! Located in the old bank lobby attached to the Majestic Jewel. Full kitchen, bedroom with QUEEN SIZE bed and sitting area, full bath & breakfast table for 2. Wrap around veranda, dining room, hospitality lobby & grand salon are shared with other guests of the Majestic Jewel. Amenities available: wifi, complimentary coffee, tea, cold drinks, milk and cereal. Plenty of well lit parking, trailers welcome. Just a few blocks to town, the river wharf & bay. Take a 10 minute drive to the beautiful beaches on St George Island or 20 minute drive to Cape San Blas. Simply enjoy the ambiance of this historical jewel!

We encourage guests to use all of the common areas in the original parts of the home.
Mix & mingle or simply relax! The Majestic Jewel has plenty of space to enjoy! Embrace the pace of Apalachicola, we promise you won't want to leave!

(NOTE ABOUT PETS. We welcome one well behaved pet under 60 lbs. for a non-refundable pet fee of $50. Pet is NOT allowed in any other area of the Majestic Jewel.)

Truly a Jewel!

First time staying at the Majestic Jewel and won't be our last. June and Greg are excellent hosts and and such sweet people. They made us feel right at home. The Liberty Studio Suite is a nod to all things patriotic and a wonderful 2 room suite equipped with a kitchen. While we didn't take advantage of those amenities, they were top notch. The story of how the Jewel came to be is so intriguing. I won't spoil it here. You'll just have to stay yourself to find out the story. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Nice studio apartment in an historic and beautifully restored home. Wonderful history in the beautiful city of Apalachicola, Florida. Nice amenities included complimentary breakfast items and snacks in the community kitchen, lovely wrap around porch with breezy seating options to beat the heat of the day, and friendly owners ready to help with anything and answer any questions.

Beautiful Historic Home In Walking Distance to Downtown Apalachicola

Beautiful historic home 2 blocks from downtown Apalachicola. The Liberty Studio apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything we could want or need. Wonderful stay and we would highly recommend the Majestic Pearl and the Liberty Studio.

Anniversary Stay at the Majestic Jewel in Apalachicola, FL

Beautiful mansion and beautifully decorated. The hosts June and Greg, make you feel at home and are very welcoming. Great fishing town. Make sure you make plans to so something out of town or hiking, fishing, etc because there is absolutely nothing to do in town. All the shops are closed on Sundays, and even some restaurants. We went for a Sunday drive along the coast.

Liberty Studio Suite

The Majestic Jewel is such a lovely home. The studio apartment filled every need. The extra touches by June were just frosting on the cake. Snacks, drinks, extras in the lobby. The location was great for walking in town, and convenient for day trips to Wakulla Springs, St George Island, Panacea marine center, NERR. We loved every minute of our stay. (4 nights)

very convenient and clean

The hotel is an historic, old house. They keep it very clean, and cozy. There's a coffee bar, free candy/snacks, a fridge in the coffee area for patrons, and a nice dining room, living area for visiting. The porches are nice and well kept. All of this made my stay very nice. My only suggestion would be a better mowed lawn. I would stay there again!

Anniversary (late Valentines) Trip

We loved staying in the 1st floor apartment at the Majestic Jewel. We were able to park right outside the door, with easy access in and out of the building and our apartment. June and Greg were awesome hosts and we enjoyed our front porch chat with them on Sunday afternoon. We cooked breakfast every morning in our apartment, had access to anything we needed during our stay and wanted for nothing. We walked everywhere, restaurants, shopping, sight-seeing... they are all just blocks away and we felt very safe and comfortable walking anywhere. A short drive to Port St Joe in one direction, then to St. George Island in another, made for enjoyable drives to nearby areas. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back.
