'One of the biggest draws to this property is there are no children. It is couples only. Therefore, peace and calm surround you. Of course, you will have to put up with the screaming children on the plane ride to and from the island unless you fly private. Also, for boat charters, this is a convenient location. For both of these reasons, this resort beats Jumby Bay. Jumby Bay actually tries to attract families with childrens' programs and, boats won't go all the way to Jumby Bay for charters...

'The beach was unbeatable. The sand was great, no rocks. The water was beautiful, warm and turquoise. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Service was a bit slow at times but we weren’t in a rush. Some areas had sewage smell wafting. Need to improve the sanitation in that regard. '

'Rose is a wonderful hostess, and her staff are friendly and helpful also. The proximity to the quiet and private beach with the reef so close, and the kayaks available made for a totally relaxing time, a totally safe environment. The gardens surrounding the establishment were well loved and attended, and so colourful! It was wonderful to share plant knowledge and care with all staff. Upon arrival Rose made a trip with and for me for groceries, such a terrific service! I would definitely stay...

'We are return guests and love it. The food was amazing at both the Pineapple Grill and Chef Pietros. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Now the negatives - the rooms in the waterfront building NEED to be renovated desperately. The showers are disgusting and ours had red an black mildew growing. Also, who can reach a safe that is 6 ft off the ground? My wife couldn’t and I had to pull a chair up to it each time I needed to get in. Last, the Topaz restaurant always seemed short staffed....

'We stayed in "the Captain", one of the suite-buildings on the resort , supposedly the upmarket sister of the all-inclusive Jolly Beach Resort, but stangely enough this Tranquility Resort is further away from the beach than the Jolly Resort, with no be beach/sea views from the accommodation; the 3 floor suite buildings look a bit outdated, but the suite was huge (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room/kitchen) and comfortable, except there were no (black-out) curtains, just blinds that let the...
