'The Shipyard Angra was an amazing place to stay and explore the island of Terceira from. There is a spacious garage underneath the hotel where we parked our rental car. The room was amazing, they upgraded us from a studio to an apartment, so nice! Spacious, with sitting area, a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed and automatic curtains. There were robes in the bathroom and rituals soap. The staff was very nice and helped us arrange a whale watching tour. Breakfast was delicious...

'Great location and view (king room suite), though parking is off site on street. Pool is not heated though was never used by anyone when I was there in April. Great breakfast spread- toast and omelette fixings, yogurt and fruit. Responsive staff to requests for help. Was a slight problem with a bathroom odor they tried to fix. Overall great stay.'
