'A very comfortable house in a lovely place, close to Santander and beaches, and with lovely walks straight from the door. Dog-friendly with a large and fully enclosed garden. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel really welcome. I’m already looking forward to going back!'

'Geweldig ontvangen en goede tips. Leuke ervaring. Nette studio met alle voorzieningen. Ook gebruik kunnen maken van schuur voor stalling van e bikes. In de avond bijzondere geluiden zoals ezel, en fluitende padden. Niet storend voor nachtrust. Verschillende mogelijkheden om te fietsen. Dus of goede conditie of e bikes.'

'Cottage in centre of the village with a view of the historic church. Isla is a lovely historic village with a couple of bar/restaurants that were really good. The cottage was OK for our stay and a good base to visit the Cantabrian coast and mountains. Good size clean and tidy with plenty of towels and good bedding etc.. It's a little bit dated and needs some TLC to bring it into the expectations of 2023. Had a couple of problems with things that didn't work but lived with that rather than...

'We had a lovely stay in the apartment, which is located on the edge of Isla, but well in walking distance of the center and beaches. We enjoyed having breakfast in the small garden as well as dinner- we used the bbq several times. 'Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. We enjoyed to drink a fresh lemon from the garden and sit in front of the house, looking at the splendid mountain panorama in front of us. Many thanks for this nice and relaxing stay, regards, A & C'
