'Casa dos Corrreios was absolutely a delight to stay at. The host was so lovely and welcoming and made our stay extremely pleasant. The hotel is a newly renovated post office and was beautifully designed. It is so cute, clean and comfortable. The beddings and towels were top quality and all necessary amenities were provided. It’s also perfectly located in the city center and just 7mins walk from some gorgeous views of the river and waterfalls. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I visit...

'Golden Mirror is an absolutely lovely place! Everything in the house is nice and beautiful. Even more beautiful is the stunning view over the Douro Valley. Also the staff is so nice. The only negative thing is that we had just one night in this outstanding place. This is the place you should choose! Highly recommended!!'

'Notre souriante hôte Liliana était très sympathique, nous a fait un tour du site, et nous a reçu avec une bouteille de mousseux de la région et des brochettes de fraises cultivées sur place. Elle a upgradé notre chambre pour une suite avec jacuzzi. Le déjeuner était très bon avec confitures maison. L’endroit était difficile à trouver avec notre GPS mais les gens de la ville nous ont aidé. Fortement recommandé.'

'This was one of the very best places we stayed in the 6 weeks we spent in Italy and Portugal! The owner, Silvio, is such a kind and generous host, and he has created a uniquely beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, set in an incredibly lovely garden, and the stone house was just as charming. Silvio has done a beautiful job decorating, and does so many nice touches that add to the warmth and beauty of the property. This is a great place to stay, and we would love to come back!'

'Anna was the most helpful accommodating hostess. The property was a bit difficult to find but once we found it it was amazing. A bit difficult for parking but we are finding that to be a problem all over Portugal. We would be happy to stay again 😊 '

'Dit aan de buitenkant van Vila real gelegen guesthouse heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Mooie en goed ingerichte kamers en alles is nog nieuw. Goed comfort en goede service. Prachtig zwembad. Klein minpuntje is dat er buiten het guesthouse zelf nog wordt gebouwd. Wij hadden daarvan geen last.'
