Blokhutten in Altamont

'Fit the needs for a golf trip away from home. Very charming community in the woods. Place was clean with no issues. Nice loft if you have kids. Would recommend!'

'It was the perfect, peaceful getaway that my husband and I needed!'

'We absolutely loved staying at the cabin! It was such a beautiful home with an amazing view of the mountains. The hosts were very kind and kept the cabin very tidy, which we really appreciate. We'll be living in the area soon and will be sure to recommend to our friends and family for future stays when visiting!'

'It was a great place. It had everything you needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The community had hiking trails, and lake views. The restaurants close by were great too!'

'Family of 5 really enjoyed this rustic cabin. Loves the history displayed throughtout the home. Location was superb with a breath-taking view from the back deck that we spent a lot of time on. We enjoyed watching the bats at night and the sunrise was well worth the early wakeup call! We spent time hiking at Savage Gulf State Park and Fiery Gizzard State Park during our stay which was an easy drive from the cabin. This is not a luxury cabin but sits well with those seeking a stay close with...

'This lakeside tiny home is perfect for a family of 4-5 or just for a couple. Ample seating indoors and out; we had dinner and breakfast alfresco on the screened in porch, and we were able to eat indoors at the just-right-sized dining table for 4. There was plenty of room to spread out outdoors as well with a beautiful fire pit and grilling area in addition to the deck and screened in porch. We loved having access to the public dock just steps away and took advantage of the kayak rentals as well...

'Great stay! Grant and Becky greeted us warmly and even toured us around their impressive property. So many cool, unique, varied, and cozy/comfortable accommodations. We were only in the log cabin for one night but it had everything and more. My kids loved the accessibility of the property (and the Polaris ride with Grant). Definitely recommend this location.'

'perfect little house'

'The Calming Cabin was just as advertised. Quaint, quiet, well appointed, and well stocked. A lot of extras that made our stay a great experience. It was just two of us but the Cabin has room for kids or another couple in the loft. Ben and Tori were very professional, quick to respond, very detailed and communicative although we didn’t want for anything. We would highly recommend this property and host to anyone spending time in the area or just passing through. We would not hesitate to stay with...

'Kids loved the playground and fishing. House was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.'
