'Nicely maintained grounds. Gardens make it a nice surrounding. Available pool needs algae control. Water was clear, but algae spots could bee seen across both adults and kids pools. Rooms are a little tired, but clean and nice. It is a good rural hotel for the price. Location is away from downtown pontevedra, but right on el Camino, so it is a good space to stop. It is on top of a hill, so you will need extra legs for the final stretch.'

'After a hard day on the Camino this was a tranquil oasis in the heat of the summer sun. We had a wonderful welcome with staff being extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, I was very impressed that they were able to help with a little late birthday surprise for my partner. The only way we believe this stay could have been improved was if they had a small pool to relax at and cool down in, however we did know this was not one of the available facilities when booking so could not mark them down...

'Das angenehmste Hotel seit langen! Das Zimmer mit Doppelbett ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Wände bestehen aus Granitsteinen, die sehr sauber verarbeitet sind. Die Fenster lassen sich mit Innen-Fensterladen verdunkeln. Das Haupthaus war früher eine Wassermühle. Der Bach fließt unverändert idyllisch über das Grundstück. Es gibt einen Weinberg und entsprechend eigenen Wein zur Verkostung und zum Kaufen. Klasse mit Liebe zubereitetes Frühstück. Die Eigentümer und Betreiber...

'I would say this is a hidden gem. An elegant hotel in the heart of Caldas de Reis, so very convenient if you are making the Camino. It is way above others in this route. Nicely appointed rooms. It was nice to see some other pilgrims from El Camino staying here as well. Breakfast was nice too. Checking in took a little longer than expected, but service was courteous and informative. When you are getting to your hotel after a stage of el Camino, you just want to hit a shower as soon as...

'Absolutely lovely property just outside the city. Very quiet and enjoyable, family run. Dinner and breakfast provided, a few choices given, and shuttle service from town for pilgrims.'
