'Nice location, very amiable staff. No headboard on the bed, a personal peeve. The mattress comforts fair to tolerable. Expect not much adornment, but really don’t appreciate ceiling lighting only. Extremely institutional feel. Reading lamps even as a rental option, much better. Limited power points. Maybe I am not a dorm or hostel compliant traveller anymore….but it’s a modern world.'

'This is an old, tired hotel in need of renovation. Also the late shift staff is anything but helpful. For one, this hotel has no lift which is a pain if you arrive with heavy luggage, and the evening staff decides to give you a second floor room, and subsequently doesn't offer to help you carry the heavy luggage upstairs. Then, for a multiple night stay, the staff only activated my keys for one night and then blamed 'some technical failure'. They don't take responsibility, they offer no...

'The unit itself was clean and tidy and organized the front door handle to the building is massive and almost fell off every time I went to open and close the door, knobs in the shower fixtures and handles were falling off and the hot tub doesn't have much water pressure so it takes an incredibly long time to fill.. Property all in all was nice on a quiet street and the place is very clean, the keypad door handles were an absolute pain and always stopped working. All in all this is a great place...

'We had a great experience with the staff at this hotel. As a group of 10, they accommodated us by allowing a late check-out at 12pm and stored our luggage with no issue. When we noticed the AC wasn’t working in one of our rooms, the front desk came promptly to check it. Although it couldn’t be fixed right away, they offered fans which worked fine for us since we were out for the day and checking out the next day. 'The Prince George hotel was perfect for us. We attended the International Tattoo across the street at the Scotia Bank center. The self park was great. The restaurants near the hotel were wonderful, especially the Wooden Monkey. We had complimentary buffet breakfasts. The bed was very comfortable, We highly recommend this hotel, well worth the price.'

'The room was massive, even bigger than the picture made us think. Great waterpressure in the shower and nice beds. The location is near several highways and it offers easy access to both the city as wel as Peggy's Cove. Nice pool and good breakfast as well. Only downside was that housekeeping on our floor was only at the end of the afternoon (around 4 pm) which can be a bit late when traveling with a young child.'
