'It's a very tired dark brown colored motel inside & out. Old dark carpeting in the room aded to the damp humidity we felt as the AC ran. BAthroom was clean and towels were soft and white. WE were there in Mid July. Contintental Breakfast was fine. Staff was nice, front desk team let us store our bikes in their office.'

'Very nice property. Parking was a challenge with the race. I parked on the lower level and always found a spot. Maybe just spruce up the entrance down low (I know it’s a maintenance area) but it’s also a hotel entrance. Front enterance could Use some sprucing as well. May seem Minor, but this is the guests first impression. I will Just trying to help with some Useful feedback. Definitely be Back.'

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'There is some potential here but many of the amenities are over looked and not very appealing. For example, a broken down Bobcat is what you’ll be looking at as you sit at the fire pit. Hot tub is luke warm with no way to control temperature. Pretzel appetizer was inedible. And unfortunately if you hope to have a room with a view, many rooms look out to the side of buildings. Our view was the side of a storage shed. They offered to move us to another room overlooking a parking lot…not worth it....
