'This was a great place to stay in a cute fishing village. The home was cozy (although a little too warm upstairs the first night) and the whole family enjoyed it. It was farther away from the Acadia island than we expected, but we enjoyed the Schoonic region which was close by.'

Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location.'

'We didn't want to leave! Home was clean, spacious, comfortable and full of natural light. The outdoor areas, deck, balcony and sunroom offered several ways to enjoy the surrounding views and nature. Beds were comfortable and Mandy was very communicative. It was a Maine paradise. We plan on coming back in the future!'

Our dog had a wonderful time, the house is very dog friendly and the dogs who like to swim, as ours does, there is a small bay 500 yards away that is safe for them to do so. Awesome place!'

'The check-in was easy. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very well stocked kitchen with pans, dishes, cookware and grilling tools. The house was so comfortable but the star of the show was the backyard with planting of seating for all of us,the fire pit and the stunning g view. We used the propane grill one night and the outdoor seafood pot outdoor on an additional propane stand. We all enjoyed our stay.'
