'Positives first, we had a family wedding near by and were allowed to check into the room at1pm instead of 4.30pm which was greatly appreciated. There is ample free on site parking and the building from the outside looks very nice.However the property is very dated and in desperate need of renovation.'

'We waren hier voor 2 nachten. Schone en gezellige kamer. Bij binnenkomst stond er een pot met verse koekjes en een fles koud water Er lagen veel handige verpakte spulletjes in de kamer zoals zeepjes, oordopjes, make up pads enz. Rustige omgeving. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de gastdame kwam regelmatig vragen of alles oke was. Al met al een aanrader.'

'Quite an unusual property which I really liked but it wasn’t what my partner would have chosen. They did come round to it though. Very handy for the town and restaurants and lovely walks nearby. Fridge in room with water, bathroom a little cramped but at least it was clean and the host (who I think may live there) was very friendly. '

'Christine was very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. She cooks an amazing English breakfast as that we enjoyed before our trip out of town. 'To my surprise was the only guest during my stay. The hosts were kind and considerate. The room is small but tidy and in well maintained condition. Separate shower which is a bit basic but sufficient, the bathroom is en suite though. There is also a drawing room which you share with a lodger, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Breakfast gives you a choice between continental and full English breakfast in a very nice room. '

'Nice basic home. Verry clean. All you need was there, accept something like a welcome book. A book, where you can find the most important things in the area (doctor, vet supermarket....) There you can also put stuff in as, where is the fuse box ore how does the shower works. The amount of towels was verry low for 2 weeks'

'This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves.'
