« The photos looked luxurious - actual hotel in a boring modern building across a car park. Not their fault, storm caused lift failure, and I had to climb two flights of stairs. They did offer to help me from restaurant, thought OK, but had to open fire door with room key, not told. « Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. « Nice property overall, location can’t be beat, walkable to Windsor and Eton and the river. No hot water the first day, difficult to get a hold of staff as there is no overnight staffing. Emergency and contact numbers were out of date, manager didn’t pick up her mobile phone because they didn’t recognise the number calling, which we thought was odd. Water issue was remedied. No compensation offered. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Didn’t hear any noise from street or from restaurant....
