« Hotel très bien placé avec vue magnifique sur le lac mais un peu vieillot Petit dejeuner buffet avec pas mal de choix mais la qualité pourrait être améliorée (porridge préparé avec du lait plutôt que de l’eau par example) La douche était un cauchemar alternant eau bouillante et glacée sans qu’on touche au robinet et quand nous l’avons mentionné à l’accueil, aucune excuse, juste un “merci pour le feed-back” »

« The person at the reception had a very inappropriate behaviour. The welcome was cold, to such a point that we did not stay in the hotel for the diner. Piscine (nice, good temperature), sauna (not warm enough - could not even sweat) Jaccuzzi (out of order). Wifi limited to Whathsapp and Facebok. TV poor quality (channels). Room quite big, good confort with 2 kids, a plus »

« Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. »

« Hillthwaite feels staying in a family home rather than a hotel and the warm welcome certainly matches. The room was spacious and bedding extremely comfortable, which was perfect for a mini break in the area. Extra points for the bathtub (in addition to a full shower)! Breakfast was excellent and the staff is lovely. »

« We enjoyed our stay at Kotel. Good location, good wifi connection. However we would have liked to have had an electric hob as with only a microwave cooking was rather limited. Also not easy to wash up as no plug in the sink. Fortunately there was an ice bucket I could use to wash up!!!. Crockery was also limited to 2 sets only. Had to check with staff on site re disposal of our rubbish as bins not very big. It would also be good that the Kotel staff supply a brush and dustpan for sweeping up the...

« Lovely clean hotel, room was bright and clean, shower could be better with a booster pump, breakfast to die for fab choices! The only improvement would be a bar in main lounge so you could have a wee nightcap before bed!! Otherwise a lovely clean and welcoming hotel with amazing staff!! »
