'The hotel is pretty nice, but seems dated and geared towards older clientele. The staff were fine but seem very new and slow movers. No one was rude and everyone was fine if you spoke to them but they don't go out of their way or have any sense of urgency. The city surrounding the hotel is unfortunately experiencing high level of unhoused folks and public drug/meth use. It's very sad but be diligent if walking around especially in the Monument Square area. The food scene however is top notch!'

'In tegenstelling tot bepaalde teviews was de kamer uitermate schoon. Iedere dag werd deze schoongemaakt en werden de badhanddoeken vervangen. Het ontbijt was goed met vers fruit en eieren naar keuze. '

'This is a very nice hotel and centrally located. Just be advised that is on a hill from the port in case you do a lot of walking. Otherwise, the room was clean, quiet, and nice staff'

'What impressed us most about the property was how almost every design detail of the room perfectly aligned with our needs. Everything functioned so nicely. There was nothing amiss or off. It really was impressive and added to our enjoyment of the stay. The room was also spotless and obviously well kept. We would definitely return to this location.'

'Apparently it was an old newspaper, so that’s the theme of the hotel. The restaurant bar and hotel bar are lovely.
There’s lots to do and see within a short walking distance.
The staff, especially Tim Caban, Assistant Guest Services Manager, is excellent-top notch! He’s very professional, yet kind and caring. Marriott, you have an excellent employee and they are difficult to find.
