'The hosts and accommodations were lovely. We left early our first morning for a day trip to Abel Tasman and Sally packed us a to go breakfast including homegrown tomatoes from her garden. I think they ordered up sunlight to stream into the breakfast room the next morning so it would shine on the locally grown fresh fruits. Way exceeded expectations. '

'Stayed 3 nights at Annick House. Felt like our house from the start. Just safe, comfortable and convenient. Great hosts with history to Nelson. Fabulous fresh breakfast.Nick helped us tour, walking routes and taxis. Had great beer at his pub! Little Thai takeaway near his house had fresh dinners at reasonable price. Had our first NZ pie at downtown bakery.. too good. Nelson will be hard to beat.'

Still we would not choose to stay here again, because the couple who manage the place showed very little flexibility and sense of service when they denied our request (that we put in after one day) to cut our stay at the hotel short from four to three nights.
