'A lovely hotel at an affordable price. The reception staff were a bit offhand but the restaurant staff were wonderful. The food was very nice and not too expensive'

'Loved my stay at Engiri. I didn't want to leave. The place, the staff, the warm staff, the elephant and hippos roaming about in the mornings - I loved it all.'

'The accommodation is in the middle of the nature and offers great viewing possibilities for monkeys, birds, various insects and more. It is quiet, rooms are spacious, food is delicious. Brenda did a good job and was ready to help every time.
Keep in mind, it's a community location. You need a torch to walk in the dark.
Some small suggestions: small towel in the room and soap to wash your hands'

'This is a rustic inn with plenty of personality. We were greeted promptly at check in. The rooms are small, with 2 beds, but are nicely decorated. The public area has plenty if seating and a lovely fire in the evening. We had 2 massages, which were pleasant. The beautiful courtyard has many plants and outdoor seating. Staff arranged airport pick up and drop off for us. Breakfast is included with cost of lodging. There is a menu for lunch and the chef chooses nightly dinner menu. Staff is...

'Large rooms, good location, clean. I would not book this hotel through Expedia, however, because they were very confused. I am not sure how Expedia liaises with hotels, because they seemed to have never heard of Expedia and I am concerned that they may not have the correct systems in place to record and access payments. I will be booking small hotels in African directly from now on, instead of through a booking site.'
