Our anniversary celebration at Kanan Tulum was absolutely magical! The staff went way beyond to make it special, with lovely surprises in our beautifully designed room and an unforgettable dinner at the treetop Nest, surrounded by breathtaking views. The food was excellent, and the team was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating, taking the time to understand our preferences and personalize our dining experience. The unique treetop nests for relaxing and dining make this hotel truly one of a kind. Exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful memories. The check in seemed nice, we got a wet towel and a drink which was really tasty, the check in itsself lasted way too long, im not exaggerating when im saying it took at least half an hour. The room and the pools were really nice. We did a round trip and of all the places we've been to the staff in this hotel was the least friendly. There are red cabs outside the hotel. They charge like 3 times the normal price. Ordinary cabs aren't allowed to pick up people from/nearby hotel. If you try to catch one on his way out, they will tell you they are off service. We got a number from an ordinary cab driver, but he didn't dare to come to our hotel. This hotel stinks. The staff will tell you they have nothing to do with the red cabs, but surely they do. We also went to the steak restaurant. We asked for the tenderloin steak with no fat. -. - 1/3th of our steak was fat. The prices for the food are quite high and u have to order every side dish apart from your steak. So if you order a steak, you will get just the steak. We ordered the roasted potato, but it was underdone. Then when we got the bill they charged us a steak that was almost twice as expensive. At first they tried to tell us that we made a mistake, which i think is really odd. They charged us for something different than we had ordered, it was really that easy, but they acted as if they didn't understand. Took them about 30 minutes to understand, and after all the fuzz they still had the guts to try and charge us gratuity.

We had an absolutely incredible stay for our 5-year anniversary! Right from the start, the fantastic entrance hall with its astonishing panoramic ocean view leaves you speechless. You are truly overwhelmed by the sheer size of the property. The service was flawless from start to finish, including top-notch housekeeping. We received a generous room upgrade to a very spacious suite with separate bedrooms, a living area, and a balcony jacuzzi with a fantastic ocean view. As a former bartender and 5-star hospitality worker, I was highly impressed by the top-class bars throughout the hotel and at the pools. They serve excellent cocktails and premium imported spirits. It is absolutely 5+ star worthy. The culinary experience was just as outstanding. We highly recommend dining at Copal (Mexican), Minami (Japanese), and Bao (Asian), alongside the excellent open buffet and room service breakfast. The resort facilities are amazing for families. We loved the massive main pool (which feels 1000 meters long!) and the saltwater pool. The entertainment options are highly recommended too, including laser tag, the arcade, escape rooms, golf, and VR baseball and racing. A special thank you to Rebeca and Alberto from the pre-arrival team for their fantastic support. They even arranged a thoughtful anniversary card and a piñata that our kids absolutely loved. They thought of every detail. We highly recommend this resort!
