Île Sainte-Hélène: Skivakanties

Excellent experience and a very pleasant stay, as always. This time, I especially want to highlight the restaurant and its wonderful staff. Brendan, in particular, went above and beyond to accommodate me because of my recent injury and made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. His kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality were greatly appreciated and made my stay that much better! Thank you, Brendan, and the entire team!!

Dit hotel wordt veel beter voorgesteld dan het is. In werkelijkheid heeft het z'n beste tijd gehad. Mijn kamer was zeer donker, en niet zo proper, vooral de douche niet. De ramen waren zo vuil dat je er met moeite kon door zien. Mijn kamer was boven het onderliggend restaurant dat luidsprekers op het terras heeft hangen die tot na middernacht zeer luide muziek spelen. Het ontbijt was de moeite en kost niet waard.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was amazing. Staff was very nice and accommodating specially the staff in the kitchen. Would definitely be staying here again when in montreal!

Great service. Very (too) soft beds. Tip: fruit in the room?

I saw droplets of soap residue upon first pee on the floor so was not properly mopped. The hand shower was very weak so I had to use the rain shower and bounce around to not get my hair wet. The toilet had a flush button on the left 30-40 cm from the wall and I chipped my manicure aa my nail got caught in their button. Also there are French doors in the hallway to the washroom for a corner King suite. Turndown service had a menu that included a bath but I had no bathtub so was a tad annoyed after paying $500 Canadian. There is also no pool and I got confused by their "world class fitness centre" --- I would have rather stayed at Fairmont or Germain or Holiday Inn Also there's only one extra pillow in the closet and the pillows were too soft and saggy, I slept with couch cushions. There's also a 2 or 3" mattress soft cover which was worn and slept in, probably put on as the bed was sinking. I was in #512 or #517 and I do not think this is a 5 star hotel. I was very disappointed as I choose based on brand but when I was comparing hotels in the area I found most had pools and jacuzzis so assumed their "world class fitness centre" did. The purpose of my trip was I drove from Toronto and wanted to pick up Montreal/Quebec only goodies (Schwartz, cheese, Fairmont bagels) so wanted to stay in that eve to relax. This is not a 5 star hotel. If you are set on Golden Mile stay elsewhere to get your luxury stay.

Great stay. Best part was how quiet the building/room was. I stayed in St Therese which isn't above the wine bar. So that might have helped. I appreciate the crosissants at the door that I could grab on my way out. I also had a really good rate. So it made it worth it.
