Brazilië: Kindvriendelijke vakanties

What’s good: Amazing buffet restaurant, great pool, very safe, kind staff. What’s bad: - 1st room had problems with electricity, resulting that the air condition stopped working at 02:00 making it 28 degrees in the room. (Assume this is just bad luck). - The walls are paper thin. Family with children above us decided to renovate their room themselves (that’s how it sounded at least). A lot of noice keeping us awake. - no free bottled water. - staff ‘forgot’ to calculate the promised discount at check out. It’s a nice hotel, good facilities but I would not recommend if you want a quiet hotel. Lots of families with children.

Comida mediana para baixo. Atendimento razoável.

We loved the resort and the 7 heated pools. There was less chloride in the water that usual in The Netherlands which was very nice. The view, the space, the terras are wonderful. Everything looked beautiful but there were some parts of the pool that needed repairs because some of the paint had come of the bottom of the pool. We did not know is this was because of winter season or it was meant to be left like that but we would advise the staff to repair it, to make the hotel conditions from good to excellent.

The service was great and it was very safe, which is very important in Rio de Janeiro.

Ontbijt is niets waard.

Niet alle kamers zijn vernieuwd. Mijn kamer was enorm verouderd. Verder was het wel schoon en de rest eromheen is goed. Het ontbijt is wel erg beperkt.

Spent one night here are the end of a long trip across Brazil, was looking forward to a little luxury. The morning staff on reception were great, the afternoon/evening not so good. The room itself was great, although we did have issues with our entry card not working and the lift breaking down. We had hoped, from the expedia images, etc. that we could get a sea view, but none of the rooms had this and we ended up in a room facing directly into another guest's room, so we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time we were there... despite all this, the hotel is clean and modern, great breakfast, generally good staff and in a great location for Copacabana Beach. I would recommend this to a friend, but would be clear about what to expect from the view!
