The Habtoor grand resort ( JBR ) is a very Beautifull and cozy hotel . The staff is very friendly and helpfull . Receptionist are always willing to help you fast in case of any requests or questions ( I asked for a different hardness of pillow and got arranged one very fast ) . The housekeeping does a great job . My compliments go out to Ashanti , she always did an amazing job in cleaning our room. Also the food is good at this hotel , lots of choice and each night a different food theme . Compliments to the chef and waitresses . As for improvement points , I noticed that the pool all day plays the same music list on repeat , often the list includes sad songs that do not bring a happy vibe to the holiday moment , after all during your holiday you want to feel happy . I would recommend just a commercial radio station with variation of songs or just a big list of various different good feel songs so you do not feel the constant repeat of the same sad songs , more people also mentioned this point at the pool . Also we noticed that both the Polo bar and the underground are smoking bars ,there is no non smoking area . The underground bar has good atmosphere ( if youre smoker ) , at the Polo bar however the vibe was often silent , many times that a shared a drink there the music was too sad, I would recommend a relax jazz vibe or happy song playlist . Unfortunate there was construction work going on ( building new tower ) at garden, some nights I could not sleep . But good hotel

Nice hotel although the years have gone. We had a room at the street side and we could hear the cars. So if you sleep light I would recommend a pool room. Food in the restaurant for breakfast was great a lot of choices there.

Schitterend hotel op een mooie locatie. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooi uitzicht op de palm en alles goed bereikbaar met de taxi. Kortom weinig minpunten. Wij waren er in juni en buiten dat warm was [ maar dat weet] waren er ook veel gezinnen met kinderen. Het ontbijtbuffet was prima. Het eten is Engels, europees en indiaas georienteerd.

As al hotel/appartments in Dubai, once they are build there is no maintenance. After a few years the decay starts and everything that is broken is not repaired. As in our appartment, watertaps, kitchencupboards, toilets not flushing etc.

Again great stay at Grand Hyatt. Very friendly staff and great food at Market Place.
