Île aux Cerfs: Golfvakanties

A great concept and super stay! Hotel charges management and reopened in November ‘18. We had pretty high expectations, considering it is a five-star hotel. Expectations were met and well exceeded! Some points which really stood out for us: - staff makes you feel welcome and ‘at home’ in a pleasant non-intrusive way. It was clear to us they all care and do their part in ensuring you have the best holiday. - the beds were serious quality and therefore very comfortable. - ‘live’ bakery next to the kitchen, all bread and coffee is fresh. Open (though closed with glass) kitchen, breakfast is a la carte. - dietary requirements due to allergy were communicated among staff and even when encountering ‘new’ staff they were already aware. - the rooms have several books in them and the hotel has a library with a lot of books. - the lagoon is directly connected with the hotel, beach and pool area are very well equipped. - room comes with a complimentary small book, which is like the lonely planet but better because it was written by local people, really nice guide if you want to explore the island. Actually, the hotel stimulates you to do so as they have bicycles, e-bikes and a mini-cooper (convertible) in rent. - the Spa had a special SALT room (read: walls made off Hymalayan salt bricks) where you can relax or have colour / light treatment. Again, a great experience.
