Mamanuca Islands: Goedkope Vakanties

Unfortunately, Beachcomber Island Resort was extremely disappointing and did not match what was advertised on Expedia. This property is listed as a 4-star resort, but in our experience, it was closer to a 2-star property at best. We saw roaches at the breakfast buffet, including on serving utensils. The food was poor, the drinks included in the package were nearly undrinkable, and our shower had mold. The rooms are not fully sealed, so noise carries throughout the night. We also felt overnight guests were often overlooked while staff catered more to day-trip visitors. The conditions were bad enough that we left three nights early and paid to stay elsewhere. We spoke directly with the General Manager about our experience. He later contacted me and stated that we would be refunded for our three unused nights and meals. At his request, I provided my banking information for the refund. After receiving it, he stopped responding. I have followed up and still have not received the promised refund. We travel frequently and have used Expedia for years, and this is the first property we have stayed at that differed this much from its listing. I strongly recommend Expedia reevaluate the 4-star rating. I would not recommend this property.

When you are looking for a luxurious and tropical destination, Tokoriki is the place to go! The cottages are beautifully decorated and all have seaview. The pool is stunning and is the perfect place to enjoy sunset with a nice cocktail. Staff is extremely friendly. The resort offers different trips around the island, the free daily snorkelling trips were great. Overall experience was excellent, but don't expect Michelin star quality food.

The staff here were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. The place was spotless, the scenery was beautiful, and the food was amazing. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!
