Fès-Meknès: Avontuurlijke vakanties

According to the owner this used to be the house of a prominent family of Fes. This is not very apparent from the outside, as the building does not distinguish itself from neighboring buildings, but once you enter it, a complete new world emerges. The inner court is really impressive, architecturally speaking, and is also tastefully decorated. It has a 1920s vibe. My room was a standard room and it was fairly basic, but ok. I would have expected the bathroom to be a bit more up to standards. The riad is located in the middle of the medina, so you can't reach it by cab and have to walk through narrow alleys to actually reach it. This obviously adds to the experience, but has the disadvantage that you better be back in your riad before sunset. At least, that was recommended by the hotel staff, probably because of security concerns.

Very kind and helpful staff. They went out of their way for us, even adjusting diner options for my friend who had a gluten allergy. Walking distance to the medina, very quiet in the night. I would defenitely come back to this riad when visiting Fez again.

Keurig hotel van alle comfort voorzien. Ruime slaapkamer met grote bokspring bedden. TV, kluis, telefoon etc Badkamer in marmer met bad, wc en bidet. Ieder dag werd er keurig schoon gemaakt door erg vriendelijk personeel Bar met optredens, zwembad etc
