Sicilië: Golfvakanties

Its location is perfect. A little bit outdated hotel, but clean. Room is nog to big.

Fijn hotel, servicegericht personeel. Zoals in veel hotels hoor je de badkamer van de buren nogal sterk maar ja dat is onvermijdelijk blijkbaar. De ligging is heel leuk, middenin het centrum, je kunt overal heenlopen.

This hotel was probably wonderful at some point, but is way past its prime. The swimming pools were dirty or even closed, even though we chose this hotel specifically because of the pools. The entrance to the beach was closed as well. The rooms were comfortable, yet very sparse. The light in the room is far too bright and clinical. The breakfast was disastrous; very few options and hardly anything was fresh. The hotel still uses disposable cups and spoons, which is unacceptable in today's climate. The staff were unhelpful and, at checkout, downright rude. We received the key when the room was still being cleaned. Isola delle Femmine itself is also very bleak; the views from the hotel were nice and the hotel is close to the airport, but otherwise there is nothing to recommend this place. In sum: this hotel is far overpriced and should be avoided at all costs during the offseason.

Mooie proper dagelijks gepoetste kamer. Lekker ontbijt en lekkere koffie.

I was upgraded from a studio to an apartment suite with a big balcony. The accomodation is comfortable and safe (which is important to me, as a female solo traveler). The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I forgot a few items when I left and they have been of great service to help me get them picked up by a courier. The only minus point to me was the location. The neighbourhood felt safe and people were nice. However it seems like the municipality doesn’t maintain its sidewalks properly.
