We stayed in two hotels during our week in Kathmandu. The Hyatt is clearly the better to the two (Yak&Yeti). Very clean and with all possible facilities. The location is not in the "more or less" touristic center of Kathmandu which makes that you have to travel 30 minutes to go to the center by taxi. We upgraded ourselves to the Club Lounge on the 6th floor which included breakfast, free transport, Internet and complimentary drinks and buffet. Clean rooms and great service. Hotel is located on 37 acres of green oasis in busy and dirty Kathmandu. Restaurants (Cafe and Pox) are great.

"Hotel was not very upto expectations. A big nallah flows adjacent to the hotel and there is foul smell. The hotel corridors and rooms were also not very clean. Toilets were not in good condition and not clean. However, the owner was co-operative. The good part was that vegetarian food was available ..."
