North Key Largo: Luxe vakanties

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Room was not ready until three hours past check-in. Had to check multiple times. Then was asked to pay to upgrade to different room or wait longer. Finally put into a different room, but very disappointing. Frequent traveler to area but will not return.

Unfortunately, there were several aspects of our stay that left a lot to be desired. To begin with, when we booked the room, we specifically requested a ground-floor room because we are travelling with a baby. Having a baby means that we constantly need to carry and transport items such as a pushchair, luggage and other essentials, so having a room on the ground floor was particularly important to us. Despite making this request in advance, upon arrival we were informed that our room was located on the second floor and that there were no rooms available on the ground floor. We therefore had no choice but to carry all of our belongings upstairs, which was extremely tiring and inconvenient, especially with a baby. Unfortunately, things became even worse once we started unpacking. While placing our belongings in the kitchen cupboards, we noticed a very strong smell of damp. We then discovered that the cupboards were covered in white mould, including around all of the doors and shelves. The condition of the cupboards was completely unacceptable and, in our opinion, made the room unsuitable to stay in, particularly when travelling with a baby. We immediately went to reception to report the issue and, surprisingly, we were then offered another room on the ground floor. This was particularly frustrating because we had specifically requested a ground-floor room from the beginning and had previously been told that there were none available. However, as soon as we complained about

Authentiek hotel, oftewel oud maar wel in de art deco stijl die hier zo kenmerkend is. Drama om er te komen met een taxi of auto maar eenmaal aan Ocean Drive wil je niet anders. Top locatie voor een echt redelijke prijs. Zou hier zo weer boeken.
