The Space:
Tiny Tranquility by Tiny Away proves that great things come in small, well-designed packages. Sitting in Youanmite, just 2 hours from Bendigo and 30 minutes from Shepparton, this tiny house flips the script on rural getaways. The farm setting meets modern minimalism with a bright, space-savvy interior and an outdoor nook perfect for stargazing or sipping something strong. Discover Cactus Country, Shepparton Museum, or the Murray River, then come back to a cozy holiday home just nearby.

A comfortable 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the tiny home and its immediate surroundings. The building and shed on the property are off-limits.

Tiny Tranquility by Tiny Away offers a cozy escape in Youanmite, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it spot 30 minutes from Shepparton and two hours from Bendigo. This area, once a hub with its own schools, churches, and post office, now stands as an attractive rural Australia's getaway. The landscape tells tales of grain fields and grazing cattle, reflecting its agricultural roots.

Staying in this holiday home means immersing yourself in a place where history whispers through the open fields and the night sky is covered by an array of stars. It's a chance to experience the raw, unfiltered essence of the Australian countryside.

Our local recommendations:

- Cactus Country: Step into a surreal desert landscape with thousands of cacti worldwide. Wander through themed trails, snap photos, and try cactus ice cream or margaritas for a truly out-of-the-ordinary experience.
- Shepparton Museum: Look into the region’s past at this museum, featuring Indigenous heritage, dairy industry history, and the iconic Furphy water cart. The collection tells the story of Shepparton’s transformation from farmland to a thriving town.
- Murray River: Australia’s longest river carves through the landscape. It offers sandy riverbanks, towering red gums, and endless fishing, kayaking, and camping spots. Houseboats and paddle steamers keep the old river life alive.

By Car:

- Accessible by both paved and unpaved roads

By Public Transport:

- Take a train or bus to Shepparton
- From Shepparton, hire a taxi or rideshare for the 30-minute drive to the property

By Flight:

- Nearest major airport: Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine)
- From the airport, drive approximately 2.5 hours or take a regional flight to Shepparton, then drive 30 minutes to the property

Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- Gas BBQ grill is available
- Smoking is not on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Stay aware of bushland risks like snakes, and always follow fire ban regulations
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone; Weak signals for the rest
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please turn off lights, A/C, and electronics, and remember to close windows and lock doors when leaving.
- Pets are welcome with 24 hrs’ notice and a $30 fee per pet, per stay (paid to host); must be leashed at all times—full policy provided before booking.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
