While my expectations were low because it was a Motel 6 and let’s face it, it’s going to have its moments; this stay has been even worse than I thought. Deferred maintenance, and a non-smoking room that just reeks of cigarette smoke. An ozone machine would be a great investment for your business. The absolute nail in the coffin in our stay is the lack of an actual blanket on the bed. I stayed with my special needs adult child who has multiple health issues. Regulating her body temperature and sensory issues are two major factors we deal with. I called to see if the office could help with some blankets, but I was told after searching for them they concluded they must be locked in the manager’s office and not available until the next morning. So I’m laying in the bed, fully dressed under my covers with the bath towel on top of the sheets trying to keep warm as I write this. My daughter is fully clothed and did fall asleep finally with extra clothes and I found a sweatshirt in the car. This is CRAZY! The AC is OFF and has been since we got here, it is July 12, 2025
