You will be Catskillin' it in this newly remodeled, over 500 sq. ft., design-forward 1BR cottage, bright and snug with private outdoor space, modern kitchenette (only induction burner, microwave, and convection toaster oven,) and spa-like bathroom. Upstate and chill in the cozy full bed with your s.o. for a romantic cottage getaway. A comfy second bed makes it great for get-aways with your bestie, too. Located on a dead-end street, equipped with AC, heat, high speed internet, and private parking. No car, no problem: Trailways bus less than a mile away! Overlook Mountain rising over the treetops, short walk to village center, with its music venues and lively restaurant scene. Ideal location for any season: hit the trails, hit the slopes (35 minutes to Bellaeyre), hit the hay. Central to all that the Catskills have to offer.

Fabulous cottage

The cabin is well appointed and beautifully decorated. The tv gives you all options possible. John and Mollie are attentive and pleasant. The location was great—close to town. And, most importantly, there was an EV plug less than a mile away so we could charge our electric car, and walk back to the cabin—enabling leaving it there for a while. We hope to return next year!

A wonderfully cozy weekend escape!

We stayed in Junebug Cottage for a long weekend getaway this winter, and it was everything we could have asked for in a quick couple’s getaway. From initial booking, John & Mollie were incredibly communicative and made sure we felt welcomed and had all the information we needed about the space and the area.The cottage is beautiful, immaculately kept and so clean. It has everything you could need for a weekend stay. We had a bad snow/ice storm the weekend we were there, and the cottage was so warm and cozy (and the property even has a backup generator, which we were so lucky to have when strong winds took the power out a couple times!). John went out of his way helping to shovel and salt the walkway and driveway, which was so sweet of him and very appreciated.The house is just a short drive into town (which we explored between snow and rain), and there’s wonderful restaurants nearby. But we mostly enjoyed sleeping in, reading, and watching some TV. We can’t wait to come back again in the summer/fall to experience Woodstock in another season (and certainly will be staying at Junebug Cottage again!).

The cottage is adorable and clean and recently renovated. Location is close to town and yet tucked away and peaceful. I have never experienced such wonderful hosts who truly go above and beyond. I'm so thankful I reserved Junebug Cottage for my stay in Woodstock.
