This memorable barn is the perfect home base for those taking a trip to Wolcott NY to be near gorges in Ithaca, Lake Ontario (America), Syracuse, Rochester, Oswego or just stay and be quiet. Let’s be real- this property is 200* years old. It’s got great energy. New hardwood floors from the Amish. Two commercial water pumps and a whole home water filter. But it is a farm house and a barn.Guests will find a welcoming space featuring one bathroom, upstairs ideal for freshening up after a day of exploring. Bring towels, bedding/tents/pillows/chairs/blowup mattresses/etc. feel free to reach out with any ideas for the property. I named it Barnyard after my late father. My mom and I have done a great job putting it all together. It’s very natural. The amazing rustic charm of the barn and farm house creates a cozy atmosphere that invites relaxation. You won’t get this kind of country anywhere. Just plan accordingly. Bring bags and cleaning products and food/supplies. Plenty of parking and events encouraged (for an extra fee) there is a bathroom upstairs to shower and use the rest room. There is a bedroom to the top of the stairs on the right with a bed. Bring linens pillows towels and cleaning supplies. It’s like camping :-) Due to how this business operates, we are far more of a community or family. People come and go. Take what they need, leave the rest, give it whatever it needs. Clean up after yourself and you’ll get your cleaning deposit back. Use lanterns no candles or smoking on property sorry. Feel free to bring trained animals and kids. Clean up after them too. And you’ll get your pet fee back if I don’t notice they were there no smells or hair or germs and no feces or urine on property. This is the Barnyard- a direct creation of respectful daily painstakingly hard work by many- also known as, the American dream. Whether you’re unwinding inside or stepping out to take in the surroundings, this phenomenal spot offers a unique experience. Kick back, relax, and enjoy everything Wolcott and our barn has to offer.
