Dells Club Condos 5 Balsam

Recently renovated. This condo has a living & dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, WIFI and Smart TV/DVD. 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with 2 twin beds. Just steps out the patio door is the outdoor swimming pool; a short walk out the front door adjacent trail takes you to the beautiful Wisconsin River. There is a charcoal grill available near the pool area on a first-come first-served basis. Outdoor pickle ball, tennis and basketball court on-site.

This secluded private community of condominiums borders the Wisconsin River with its unique beauty and rock formations.
The Dells Club is nestled among oaks and pines on 61 acres of Wisconsin`s most beautiful region. The Dells Club Condos are located just a few minutes from the Dells yet a world apart. We provide basic essentials but not items like salt, pepper, oil, or paper towels. Please plan to bring these.

Quiet Retreat

This property was just as the pictures showed online; it was clean, the pool is nice sized, and there is a trail to the river that is a short walk. The check in process went smoothly, and the staff were helpful and super friendly. If the opportunity ever arose, I would rent this property again.

It was ok

It was located in a beautiful place. The unit was ok. It had one air conditioner in the living room so the bedrooms got hot if you closed the doors. Also ran out of toilet paper and had to go to town to get more. Only one kitchen hand towel and wash rag (no laundry either) and no paper towels or shampoo. No 9x13 pan to cook with. Beds were ok. Biggest bummer was no wifi and couldn't get good enough service on my phone to use the Hotspot

Price was cheap but wouldn’t go back

This location was about 15 minutes out of Wisconsin Dells. Once we Arrived, about 830pm, I went to the office at the location and it was closed. It took me forever to find a phone number to contact trying to figure out where our room was. Once I finally contacted somebody, I was told that I needed to drive to town, about 17 minutes away, to pick up the key for the room. Obviously I was not happy, spending another 1/2 hr in the car, with a van full of kids who were ready for bed. I was never told this during booking and I was never notified through a phone call. Once I arrived at the location of the key, obviously I wasn’t happy. The gentleman who gave me the key it was absolutely amazing and nice and I have nothing bad to say about him. He did it notify me that I received an email the day before telling me this is the process. I sifted through my junk mail and found an email, from an unrecognized email address (not vrbo) sent to me at 12:03am that day, stating that I needed to go to that location to pick up the key. Who knew?! That process was insane. It was absolutely inconvenient. Even if I knew I had to go there to get a key, that would’ve not been ideal. I have never heard of anything like that. The space inside the townhouse was more than ideal. Everything was pretty old but worked. There, however, was zero detail cleaning done. Everything was kind of dusty, gross, and full of stains. A lot of the outlets didn’t work and there was zero cell phone reception. There was clean pillowcases on all of the pillows, but once removed the pillowcases to see if it was clean, there is definitely drool stains everywhere. There was, what appeared to be, what I hoped to be, chocolate melted in random spots on my comforter. The sheets were torn. I moved the bed to see if I could find another outlet, it was very clear that it had never been vacuum underneath in a very long time. I did clean the property when we left, per the agreement, it was definitely way cleaner when we left then when we arrived. So all in all, it was way cheaper than I could find anywhere else, and we did not spend much time in there because we were on a little vacation adventures. But it was definitely gross sleeping in the beds with it being dirty. I didn’t even use a pillow. We used the kids a stuffed animals.

Renting process was trouble free

We booked very last minute so didn’t have many places to choose from within our price range - it worked & was a roof over our heads. Could have been ‘cleaner’ not as we would have expected, no wifi (unusual in this day & age), and overall quite dated, bed comfort was mediocre. Couldn’t open any of the windows, including those in bedrooms to freshen the air - or in case of fire? Not sure of the state fire codes & regulations? Kitchen was well stocked & great to have access to the bbq. Only 1 dish cloth & towel would recommend to leave at least 2 of each. We were travelling by motorcycle so limited as to how much we could bring. This was an ok rental, we would rent again if upgraded & wifi offered.
