Mooi maar geen echte 5 sterren. Kamers verzorgd en proper. Goed bed. Zwembad, er is e adults pool dat zeer goed is. Netheid en opruim laat te wensen over. Aan h strand veeeeeeel te weinig parasols. Eten aan beach bar zeer Amerikaans en niet echt verzorgd. Alles, eten en vooral drank zeer duur. 13 euro voor e glaasje wijn.

Nice stay but some mixed feelings
The Marriott Hotel in Curacao boasts a modern and spacious facility, complete with appealing rooms and swimming pools. However, the service doesn't quite hit the mark for a five-star rating. For instance, the lack of complimentary water bottles in the room was noticeable. The reception experience during both check-in and check-out felt rather impersonal. Additionally, the dining options, while international, only reach a standard akin to typical American fare and don't live up to a five-star standard. Overall, while the lodging is impressive, the service and culinary offerings are merely mediocre.

Fijne plek om te verblijven, erg schoon, personeel heeft oog voor details, lekker eten en vooral vers. Mijn grote pluim gaat naar de lokale medewerkers die erg fijn zijn in de omgang en allen kunnen ze meer dan drie talen spreken.

Heerlijk hotel
Mooi hotel. Ruime kamers. Aardige personeel , maar ook echt iedereen was zo aardig. Je hebt een auto nodig, maar dat geldt voor het hele eiland, als je iets wilt zien. Enige minpunt, vond ik de prijzen in de restaurants. Als je met een gezin reist, wordt het een dure grap. Maar ook dat geldt voor andere restaurants op het eiland. Maar het hotel is top, en ik ben blij dat ik uiteindelijk voor Marriott heb gekozen. Het was heerlijk!

Mooi hotel, maar erg gehorig.
Hotel is helemaal gerenoveerd en ziet er super uit. Kamers zijn ook ruim, mooi en netjes. Maar de kamers zijn heel gehorig. Net of ze geen deur hebben. Veel herrie op de gang s-nachts omdat de deuren door de deur drangers met een klap dicht slaan en kamer heel gehorig is. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vooral door de weeks. In het weekend is het te druk en dan zie je ook van alles mis gaan. Kamer kwamen ze om 17:00 pas schoonmaken als je net van het strand kwam. Door de weeks ging dit allemaal prima. Er is geen entertainment voor de gasten, ik mis het niet, maar een muziekje op het strand zou ik wel lekker zijn en voorkomt dat iedereen zijn eigen muziek meeneemt. Daar in tegen verhuren ze de grote zalen voor bedrijven en feesten en dat geeft wel overlast. Ze hebben 2 zwembaden, een is een soort wedstrijd bad voor adults only. Prima idee maar snap dan niet dat je gezinnen met kleine kinderen op kamers rond dit bad plaatst. Je kan ze wel horen schreeuwen en huilen vanaf hun kamers. We hebben ons er niet aan gestoord, maar het viel me wel op. Ontbijt is bij te boeken voor 26USD. Prima ontbijt maar niets beter dan het ontbijt waar we in ander hotel vorig jaar 5 EUR voor betaalde. Het is allemaal heel Amerikaans. We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad. Hotel is mooi, mooie plek, maar ik zou het niet nog een keer boeken.

Luxe gerenoveerd hotel
Een heerlijk hotel. Met een open lobby in koloniale stijl gemaakt van mooie materialen, waar je rond de bar in gezellige lounge sfeer eten kan kiezen uit een fusion en een japanse kaart. Aanwinst is ook het tweede adults only 25 meter lange wedstrijd bad ( geen gillende kids 😉) en ruim opgezette prive strand. Strak gerenoveerde kamers. Een aanrader!

Uitstekend net nieuw hotel, wel een auto wenselijk
Uitstekend verblijf gehad mooie nette kamer aan het strand. Het was behoudend het ontbijtbuffet zeer rustig. Het ontbijt buffet zou wat beter georganiseerd kunnen worden door begeleiding na de tafels met wat uitleg. Maar dit kleine puntje had waarschijnlijk te maken met de COVID restricties. Auto huren wenselijk zo als op bijna alle accomodaties op Curaçao 😊

Stay was comfortable. Hospitality staff was very friendly and lovely. The only complaint was during check-in. The taxi driver was a no-show and the check-in took 1.5 hours. The staff was however quick to apologize and agreed to cover for our drinks while we waited. Overall, a lovely stay and everyone of the staff is amazing from restaurants, store, 'marketplace', poolside to housekeeping. Beach was beautiful as were the two pools.

It was beautiful. I will say that the little bar restaurant by the pool area, too many kids or not enough adult presence. I did not know who the supervisor was. I will say, the young folks were pleasant and kind. I understand opportunity and chances, but if there is no direction, they all over the place. I still give 10 stars, just tighten up that area, but still have the chill vibe, music, laughter etc

Spent 1 week there with my husband and our 2 kids (2 and 4 years old) and have had our best family vacation ever!! We have traveled to many other carribean islands before but this one was totally at a different level!! All the staff were so nice, extremely polite and helpful!! Special mention to Nicole (pool service) and Olya (gym trainer). We cannot recommend this place enough!!! Loved every single minute of it!
