'We liked the outdoor pool and the indoor pool. There was karaoke in the evening but we would rather have music at the outdoor pool in afternoon. We ate at the outdoor cafe burgers and fries which was good but a little pricey. U r not allowed to play catch in the pool and a security guard informed us although this was not monitored equally and other people did it without being told not to. Also people saved pool seats for hours without being there but it was not a crowded week. We had icecream on...

'The Staff were kind, friendly and professional. They remembered our names and were exceptionally hospital. The hotel's grounds, rooms, and lobby were modern decor with spacious seating and viewing areas. We would surely recommend the hotel to all travelers who want to stay at a location that's classy, affordable, and close to the attractions that Myrtle Beach has to offer.'

'Pro's: direct on the beach, room is big enough, clean. There's a fridge, a microwave and a coffeemaker with coffee. Not the season for a pool, but it looked nice. Cons: for the cold nights the blankets didn't do it. Putting on the heating unit made so much noise that you couldn't sleep through it. The wall/door to the adjacent room made it that you could literally follow the conversation there. '

'I was exhausted coming from early morning flights. A customer was ranting and raving about the poor condition her room was in. The staff member didn’t acknowledge me and allowed the customer to complain. The customer finally left after 5 minutes. I found it extremely rude not to acknowledge me. The room floor was sticky. The elevator smelled of rancid piss for a day. I didn’t have enough towels.'

'We recently stayed at The Ellie Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach and upgraded from a standard king room with a sleeper sofa to one of the suites. Unfortunately, the upgrade didn’t feel like much of an improvement. Aside from a small sitting area with a pullout couch separated from the bedroom by the bathroom, the suite offered very little additional value. Our biggest disappointment was the room quality. 'The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and that’s why I’m giving more than one star. Also, it was relatively clean, but my room did have a distinct smell of urine. Also, I checked what time the incredibly loud music is supposed to stop, and it’s 9 PM when the bar closes. However, last night the music went till after 11 PM and I had to call two times and say Your music is supposed to stop at 9 PM… It’s a Monday night, Can you help me out here so I can get some sleep?! …. I had onion rings...

'Great hotel for the money. Pool area was great and so was the room. Not as beachfront as they say, it’s across the street to the beach access. Rooms were great, very clean, great bed, only downside was a very small bathroom. Overall I would definitely stay there again.'

'The view was very nice and we enjoyed the restaurant. The room was clean- only thing I would say is the tub was very slippery so just be careful when showering and the conditioner was empty. Staff there were all friendly; check in was a breeze and the map was very helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious.'
