'Fabulous spot for a long weekend away from Auckland. The sea view from the main property is amazing, and the pool / games barn a great place for the kids to be entertained. The hosts are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kohinui (family) cottage - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen, and heat pumps/AC in every room. 'A quick overnight trip en route to Russell but a lovely place. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful place on the beach with a world class view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice restaurants nearby too!'

'Het us een oud hotel maar het bed was prima. In de aangrenzende bar is savonds live muziek en dat hoor je, maar ik had er niet al te veel last van. De locatie kan onhandig zijn als je bijv wilt gaan duiken op de Poor Knights want daar ligt t ver vanaf. ( je wordt dan wel opgehaald maar dat weer $40 .'
