'Very quiet'

'Property was very well maintained and met every need that we had. Only suggestion would be to treat the spiders nests in the vents above the windows. 1 night we had a large black spider IN the bed and the next night there was another one on the ceiling above the bedroom window. Both of them startled the wife very much 😂'

'The house was extremely comfortable, clean, and quiet… And had everything we needed. It was a perfect homebase for lots of fun adventures in the Highlands.'

'We had a great stay at Aultbea lodge. The interior was more luxury compared to other lodges we staid in, new tv, comfortable terras chairs, heating blankets (although not needed during our stay), great beds, clean fresh lodge! We enjoyed the environment and were lucky because during the week we had only one rainy day and days of 24-29C. We even went to Gruinard Bay and tried to bath in the Atlantic Ocean.'

'We enjoyed our stay in this area, there is so much to do! Walking along the beaches, making a boattrip, visiting the Gairloch museum (surprisingly beautiful). We could recommend the Achtercairn Archeology Trail, the description of this walk is available in the museum.'

'We found the property to be much further from Inverness than we thought. It was difficult to find and my call to the property management company to assist with direction was never returned. It is a nice bungalow with a lovely view in a quiet setting. It was raining and cold, but the radiant heat was set low and it took overnight to be warm enough to be comfortable. There was a small electric radiant heater in the bedroom that did not provide adequate heat. We decided not to stay the next 2...

'Fabulous location for our short stay with my partner and the dogs, visiting my brother on Skye. Great accomodation, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Small site, super quiet, great walks for the dogs - we saw a deer on the site this morning... Would thoroughly recommend the lodges, they're lovely.'

"The hotel has a good location and decent rooms, but our stay was marred by several issues. Our shower was broken upon arrival, leaving us unable to shower for a full day. We had to build makeshift water barriers with towels to prevent flooding. Service at the front desk was poor. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and when we asked about it, staff falsely claimed we had declined housekeeping, which we hadn’t. The elevator smelled strongly of vomit throughout our visit and was never addressed. After the shower was finally repaired, no one informed us or followed up, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. The breakfast area often felt unclean — tables were sticky, and between 8:00 and 9:00 it got overcrowded quickly, with food items running out fast."

"Beautiful hotel on the ground floor, lots of space to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Friendly staff. The hotel has a lot of charm. However, the room is very basic and misses any charm, the mattress is old and uncomfortable and outdated bathroom. Breakfast was also very basic."
