Hello and welcome to Calma 1, a modern three-room vacation apartment on two levels, located near Wenningstedt Beach, the bakery, and all the village’s shopping options. The apartment is about 60 square meters in size; the living-dining area is flooded with light thanks to a wide window front, offers plenty of space, and opens onto a spacious private terrace with patio furniture. Children naturally feel right at home in all the island’s towns—no wonder, since Sylt boasts the world’s largest sandbox with over 40 kilometers of fine sandy beach—but Wenningstedt has made a name for itself as a family destination. In winter, an ice rink is set up right on the cliff, next to the futuristic and unmissable Gosch-Palast; in summer, beach volleyball is played there; and year-round, Sylt4Fun provides even more fun at the Norddörferhalle with a bouldering wall, trampoline, scooter course, and other rotating attractions.
