'Perfect, great communication from moment of booking to depature, wonderful attention to detail made a few nights stay at The Dovecote a perfect post Christmas pre New Year tonic. Lovely walks in a calm setting. Very comfortable accomodation, everything we needed and more. Natalie gave us a warm welcome and made sure all was ok, and there at departure to wish us well. 'So welcomed by our host/manager Natalie. Loved the room with the sun shining in on a cold autumn afternoon. A beautiful clear space with stunning views of the countryside Everything you needed in our kitchen. Hot showers . Warm towel rails. A robe was a beautiful touch. Meeting other guests. Exploring the farm. Finding beautiful places to sit and enjoy the landscape and all the farm animals like chickens, sheep, ducks, geese, dogs. Certainly would recommend to others who would like a farm...

'Room was perfectly adequate for us. The check in process was appalling. We arrived a couple of hours after the earliest check in time to find a big queue of angry people. Check in was being done by the security guard - he was brilliant and deserves a medal - who was doing his best to resolve all sorts of problems. We checked in eventually after 45 minutes or so. Our heart went out to various people who had clearly been waiting for a very long time to get their rooms. Whoever manages the letting...
